Ashley Jade took her first major acting role at the age of 13 in the BAFTA award winning television drama "When I Was Twelve".
That same year she took the lead role/only part in the highly acclaimed short film "About a Girl," winning a film Bafta, Kino, Sundance, The Edinburgh Film Festival, Commonwealth Prize, Granada Prize and the TCM (Turner Classic Movie) Short Film Award, where Ewan McGregor described her ability as "Excellent, excellent, excellent... a very moving and brilliand performance." Since then she has appeared in dramas such as BBC TV series "Stetford Wives" with Faye Ripley, "Casualty," "Blood Strangers," "Bob & Rose," and Ashley landed her first feature film role in "Cheeky" in 2004.
Ashley Jade is also an accomplished dancer and has appeared in the video for the single "finally" by Charlotte Day.
