Ashley Jade has a bold and distinctive voice that has drawn
comparison with Christina Aguilera.
In 2003 she began working with music producers Andy and Pete Lee of
Soda Club and Love to Infinity. (Andy and Pete Lee have worked with
artists such as Madonna, Aretha Franklin, Celine Dion, Diana Ross,
Mariah Carey, and Anastasia).
She then featured on the 2004 top 40 Soda Club hit single "Aint No Love
(Aint No Use)", and toured Japan with them to sell out audiences. In
the same year she performed in the video for "The Girls From FHM" that
went to no. 7 on the UK chart with a remake of Rod Stewart's hit "Do
You Think I'm Sexy" made to help the charity for Breast Cancer Awareness
Ashley Jade was then signed by Water Music records and began writing
her debut solo album "Dreaming" with producers Pete and Andy Lee.
The single "let me be your fantasy" which is a cover of the Rave
classic, by Baby D was released in January 2005 and debuted at #19 on
the Billboard Dance Singles Chart, and #105 on the Billboard Top 200
Singles Chart.
The albums second single, "On The Run" became even more popular than
the previous single. The third single from "Dreaming" was "Set You
Free."
Although Ashley Jade enjoyed making and performing her dance album she
began to develop a different, and more unique, style. Recently she has
been collaborating with a variety of musicians and producers and is
currently writing new material for a forthcoming recording.
Ashley Jade also featured in the Japanese bonus track of the MC Lars album 'the graduate'
